Dr. Mahan Alavi

Dr. Alavi received his B.Sc. degree from the University of Waterloo and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery training at the University of Toronto. Following his graduation, he was awarded with one year of hospital dental residency at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto where he provided dental services to hospital inpatients and a large group of medically compromised outpatient population.

Furthermore, he gained valuable clinical experience in management of patients with special needs and is certified to provide moderate IV sedation.Dr. Alavi enjoys practicing all facets of general dentistry and always seeks to further his skills and education by participating in numerous dental and continuing education courses and seminars.He is an energetic doctor with great interpersonal skills who always puts his patients’ comfort and satisfaction first.

Aside from dentistry, Dr. Alavi is a master swimmer, avid traveller, aspiring cook and has an uncompromising passion for a good coffee.
